Illinois lawmakers returned to Springfield this week for the first time since the summer for their annual "Veto Session." The name is derived from its primary purpose: considering whether to reject or accept the governor's total vetoes on or rewrites of bills passed in the spring session. That said, the legislative may consider any legislation that is introduced. They next return on November 29th.
